Landing Page Views

What is LPV?

Landing Page Views count the number of times a person clicked your ad link and successfully loaded the destination webpage. Unlike link clicks, which count the moment someone taps your ad, landing page views only count after the page finishes loading. This makes it a more accurate measure of actual website visits since it excludes accidental clicks and users who bounced before the page loaded.

Formula

Landing Page View Rate = (Landing Page Views / Link Clicks) × 100

Example

Your ad generates 1,000 link clicks but only 750 landing page views. Your landing page view rate is 75%, meaning 25% of clickers left before the page loaded. This signals a slow landing page. After improving page speed from 4.5s to 1.8s, your landing page view rate improved to 92%.

Optimization Tips

Improve your landing page load speed to under 3 seconds, every additional second of load time reduces conversions by 7%.

  3. 3

  4. 4

Use AMP pages or lightweight landing pages for mobile traffic where connection speeds may be slower.
